Common Office Desk Dimensions

A desk is an essential office piece. A good desk allows workers to focus more comfortably, boosts work enthusiasm, and enhances the overall quality and elegance of the office.
Standard Office Desk Dimensions:
Furniture has specific standards for its primary dimensions (functional dimensions). Furniture that is smaller or undersized will cause significant inconvenience and hinder its use.
Office desk dimensions are primarily determined by the height of the individual, with desk height generally around 780 mm. Common office desk dimensions are: 1200mm-1600mm in length, 500mm-650mm in width, and 700mm-800mm in height.
However, desks generally vary in size depending on the position. Let's take a look at typical office desk dimensions.
Chairman and General Manager Desk Dimensions:
Length: 2600mm-3600mm, depth: approximately 1200mm-2000mm, height: 750mm-780mm. Paired with a luxurious executive chair, this desk creates a commanding and imposing presence. Manager-level desk dimensions:
Manager desks are smaller, typically measuring 1800mm-2600mm long, 1000mm-1800mm deep, and 750mm-780mm high.
Manager-level positions and above typically use solid wood desks, which appear luxurious and distinguish them from ordinary staff desks.
Staff desk dimensions:
Ordinary staff desks measure 1000mm-1400mm long, 550mm-700mm wide, and 750mm high.
In addition, sales staff, who need to make phone calls, use screen desks, also known as partition desks, to avoid interrupting each other. These desks are typically 600mm-1200mm long, 400mm-600mm wide, and 750mm high. The screen panel on the top is about 250mm or higher.
